Ourxant Cares the planet with Sustainable and Eco-Friendly practices.

Ourxant was born from the philosophy of uniting Free Spirits, through the expression of their values ​​as mixed cultures that fight to make their home a better world.

Aware that the carbon footprint and other polluting elements in the manufacture of fashion must be reduced, from the beginning it was thought that the garments offered not only be of premium quality but also cause the least environmental damage. It is for this reason that Ourxant was conceived as Sustainable and Eco-friendly, adopting practices that are consistent with the brand's philosophy.

Consequently, we work with suppliers that are in accordance with what we are fundamentally convinced will generate a change to improve our only home: Earth Planet.
Here are some of the practices and features of our manufacturing process that will not only give you the best quality, but also make sure you're creating your own style responsibly:

♻️ Recycling

Inside every little thing, Ourxant and our suppliers find a great opportunity to make a difference, this is why although the cutting process takes advantage of every square inch, up to 100% of the scraps that remain are recycled to transform them into fiber again to be used in new items.

🔋 Green Energy

Talking about Green Energy is also important, which is why the best practices are taken in the places where the garments are manufactured. These consist of actions from the basics, such as the use of motion-sensing LED lighting and skylights in buildings, to adopting practices such as using up to 33% of energy from renewable resources.

🚰  Less Water

The latest and newest machines are used to transform the raw material into fibers, which means that less water is used by 7 times compared with other clothing manufacturers.
 

🔵🔴⚫️ Safe Inks

Another element we need to talk about is inks used because it is an essential part of our processes.
For the printing direct to garments NeoPigment and Kornit water-based are used, both have Oeko-Tex™ certification which means not only there are safe use for kids' and babies' clothes but also reduce the environmental pollution and waste. Likewise, the Inks used by Ourxant, have clasificación AATCC (4) that means they are highly resistant in color solidity against washing. 
For other products the process is not to print directly to the garment, Mimaki Dye Sublimation Ink Sb411 and Sawgrass SubliJet HD are used too. Both inks are Oeko-Tex™ certified.

In some products like Phone cases, The Mimaki UV Inkjet Ink Lus 120 is used, this has GREENGUARD Gold Certification for the creation of materials, finishes, and accessories.

 

📦 Packaging

We are conscious that the way how we package your products to be sent is as important as the clothes fabrication is why first of all we don't attach a tag only to be going to the trash as soon you wear your new Ourxant clothing or product.
In the same way, we do the compromise on using the packaging with the more sustainable as possible so we send the clothes inside new recycled plastic (PCR-post consumer) bags. In the case of the outside bag, the percentage of recycled plastic is at least 50% and in the inside bags, the percentage is at least 30%.
